Resume and Qualifications

Mr. Brooks has been in private practice, directing his own architecture firm since 1967 in the planning and design of projects in Florida and California. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. California, and is certified by the National Council of Architecture Review Boards (NCARB).


Mr. Brooks was the consultant in charge of planning, design, and landscape design for the Irvine Business Center in Orange County, California, and served as Chairman of the Architecture Review Board. His design work and related professional responsibilities have spanned a broad range of project types including: commercial, industrial / high tech, office parks, regional business headquarters, educational facilities, medical / surgery centers, communications centers, master planning of residential communities, recreational planning and design, restaurants / private clubs, and private residential design.


Mr. Brooks is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Palm Beach Chapter, AIA, The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, The Boca Raton Rotary Club, is a Paul Harris Fellow, and a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Mr. Brooks has lectured before the Florida Bar Association and has taught classes in the Planning & design of Business and Industrial Parks at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton.
